My story
Who’s the cutest pup in town? Me, of course! My name is Latte. My littermates and I were born in a big, scary shelter after our mom was found as a stray. But we were only at the shelter for a couple of days before we moved to our awesome foster home. Besides being so darn cute, I’m independent, brave and adventurous. I play well by myself and with others. I have a lot of energy and I have to admit that I’m a bit mischievous, so I would fit best with someone who is patient and willing to work with me, as I’m only a puppy. My foster mom thinks I would do best with a yard or space to run around and explore in. Me, I just want a mom or dad to call my own. I can’t wait for my new fur-ever home! Will you seal the deal and make me part of your family?Latte’s mom is a beautiful 40 pound mixed breed. Java’s nurturing nature has undoubtedly influenced her puppies, who are not only dog and people friendly but also display typical puppy behavior—happy, playful, mouthy and full of energy. Latte is current on his vetting – he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines, worming and preventatives. Latte has been working on crate and house training, as well as sit, wait, come and “slap me 5” (paw). But he’s still just a baby who will need an adopter who will commit the time to continue the process and house train him, teach him manners, and burn off his considerable energy with play. Latte’s adopter will need to be committed to managing normal puppy behavior such as chewing, potty training and leash training.

Due to the high level of care and attention a young puppy needs, we will be looking for a home where Latte will not be left alone for hours at a time. Our rescue also requires that our adopter's current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm, flea and tick prevention. All animals in your household should also be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason to keep them from being altered.If you are ready for all the joy and challenges of raising a puppy, please go to the link below fill out an application.
