Introducing the Coffee Pups. Six little pups – four females and two males – all as cute as can be. This litter has been with their foster family since two days after they were born, growing into the spunky and playful pups that they are today. The Coffee Pups love playing with toys, chasing and wrestling with each other - but what they really love is attention from their people. They’re all dreaming of a lifetime of love from their own families. Could you be one of the pup’s furever family? The pups are being fostered in Eatonton, and they are now available for pre-adoption. They will be ready to go home with their furever families in mid June.These pups are “Heinz 57" babies – we aren’t quite sure what breed mix they are. We've been told that their mom (Java) is possibly a Basenji / Terrier mix, or that she possibly has some German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois DNA. Or who knows what else. We do know that their mom is about 40 pounds; she's a sweet, loving and social girl. And it seems that Java's babies share their mom's personality. The pups will be completely vetted prior to being adopted – in addition to being spayed/neutered, they will be microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, worming, and heartworm prevention. But they’ll still just be babies who will need adopters who will commit the time to house train them, teach them manners, and burn their considerable energy with play. Adopters will need to be committed to managing normal puppy behavior such as chewing, potty training and leash training. (At 8 weeks old they won’t have started on their potty training.) Due to the high level of care and attention a young puppy needs, we will be looking for homes where the pups will not be left alone for hours at a time. Our rescue also requires that our adopter's current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm, flea and tick prevention. All animals in your household should also be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason to keep them from being altered.If you are interested in adopting one of these cuties, please visit the link below to fill out an application!
